London 4th December 2010
Gull Master Class day – Rainham Marshes
Taking bookings now
I will lead the day accompanied by Dominic Mitchell of Birdwatch magazine as our local host.
The day will involve observation and learning about the varieties of gulls species and plumages that commonly occur in winter in Britain. At Rainham, as well as the commoner species there is the good chance of encountering Yellow-legged Gull and Caspian Gulls. It take me back as the area I learnt about Yellow-legged Gulls in the early 1990’s and nearby discovered Caspian Gulls occurring in the mid ‘90’s.
I hope you will learn a lot and have fun in the process!
